The Queens Head granted an Asset of Community Value

AS of the 10th November 2016 The Queens Head has been deservedly granted an Asset of Community Value from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Thank you to all of our supporters for your support. This is a great result for the Chelsea Community who have fought to save this unique pub! The Asset of Community Value will work as a level of protection for The Queens Head not to become residential ; "In England, an asset of community value (ACV) is land or property of importance to a local community which is subject to additional protection from development under the Localism Act 2011."

There is more work to do with the community consultation coming up on the 30th November though!
